When fishkits was barley a moon old she was abandoned by her birth mother in Dawning woods in shadowclan territory.
Hawkbite Shadowclans commander was out looking for eggpaw but found a small fishkits instead the Tom took fish into the clan stopping by the leaders den to inform Dawnstar of his finding fishkit. The leader told him to take fishkits to the medicine den to get looked over by Mossfreckle.
Hawkbite took fishkits into the med den, Mossfreckle gave her a mix of herbs that fishkit enjoyed.
once fishkit was given her herbs and was given the all clear by Mossfreckle she left the med den and went into the nursery.
In the nursery her now dad took fishkits to meet Nightshiver Shadowclans forever queen who would become her adopted mother.

most of the moons following were peaceful yet following her reaching five moons she grew brave to brave even and snuck out off camp through a hole in the wall. It didn't take long for both her parents to find out and go searching for her, But fishkit ran into a fox. Fishkit ran but got hurt in the progress leaving a jagged cut from her right brow down to her left thigh nearly gutting her but due to being lucky she survived but will be left with a hideous scar the rest of her life, but fishkits wasn't the only one hurt. Her mother Nightshiver was also hurt with a Large would covering the left side of her face and a part of her ear ripped off. Hawkbite killed the fox that attacked fishy and night and the three went to the med den where Mossfreckle healed her, but due to the severity she had to stay in the med den for a moon
